Seating Information
The Black Sheep in Colorado Springs, CO is an intimate, all-ages music venue with a capacity of approximately 450 guests. The venue is known for its close, personal concert experience voted "Best Live Music Venue" for 15+ years.
- General Admission (Standing Room Only): All shows are general admission standing room only unless otherwise noted. The main floor in front of the stage is the best place to be for an immersive experience.
- Bench Seating: Limited bench seating runs along the side walls of the venue, providing a rest option while still being able to see the stage.
- Best Section: Front and center of the main floor provides the best sightlines and atmosphere.
- Sections to Avoid: Far back of the venue near the bar can have crowded sightlines during sold-out shows.
Personal chairs are not permitted for safety reasons. The venue is handicap accessible — contact the venue in advance for assistance.
Parking Information
Parking near The Black Sheep at 2106 E. Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80909 is primarily free street parking:
- Free Street Parking on Platte Ave: Parking along E. Platte Ave and surrounding side streets is free. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot, especially on sold-out show nights.
- The Black Sheep Lot: The venue's own parking lot is closed on show nights to accommodate band tour buses and staff. One handicap accessible space is available — call the venue in advance at (719) 227-7625.
- Avoid: Do NOT park at Vultures restaurant on the corner of Platte and Iowa (the dirt strip on the east side of Iowa St.) — it is private property and towing is enforced. Also avoid all private business parking lots nearby.
- Rideshare: We strongly recommend Uber or Lyft for sold-out shows. Drop-off and pick-up are available directly in front of the venue at 2106 E. Platte Ave.
Box Office & Ticket Information
The Black Sheep offers several ways to purchase tickets:
- Online: Tickets are available at blacksheeprocks.com or through TicketWeb (ticketweb.com). Electronic/mobile tickets are issued for online purchases and scanned at the door.
- Box Office (In-Person): The box office opens at 6:00pm on show nights and is CASH ONLY with a $2.00 service fee per ticket.
- No Fee Friday: Every Friday, the box office opens from 1:00pm–10:00pm with no service fees on any upcoming show (cash only).
- All Sales Final: No refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled. Postponed show tickets are honored on the rescheduled date.
- Black Sheep Punch Card: A limited annual punch card valid for entry to any 5 shows in the calendar year — includes sold-out shows (subject to capacity). Cardholders can skip the line at security.
